Hi,
I have a 2006/56 Jazz Sport CVT.  The driver's side headlight is a bit lazy I've noticed.  I have to slap the headlight for the dipped beam to come on.  Any ideas for a novice?
Thanks,
SG.

Sometimes a bulb filament which has broken will rejoin and produce light when headlight is banged (for a few times anyway) otherwise broken wire / dodgy connection / corrosion on 3 pin plug on rear of bulb (female part of connection in the plug can open up and not always make proper contact with male part on the bulb).

There is plenty of advice on this forum about replacing headlight bulbs (which is a bit of a pig),  the fault may be a broken wire inside the base of bulb so get a pair of bulbs so that you can replace it once you have accessed the bulb and plug to check it out. Osram nightbreakers or Phillips x-treme bright are well worth having,  powerbulbs is a good site.

just one link,  there are more

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot
