New Jazz Owner
« on: June 11, 2014, 09:20:11 AM »
Hi All,
Finally joining the Honda Jazz crew this Saturday. Going to be a big difference moving from a Mitsubishi Evolution to a Honda Jazz but  with a new addition to the family on the way the Jazz is the perfect small family car. It seems to have enough room for a small family whilst small enough for my wife to drive too :)

Ideally wanted a azure blue Jazz but the low mileage one i viewed last weekend was full of scratches. Instead i picked up a very low mileage (below 10k) black jazz in the EXL-T model with the Elite pack  8)

Anyone tried the Heko wind deflectors from Ebay? Tempted to buy them as they are really useful during the winter.

I've never liked wind deflectors so never had them on any of my cars but other members have them and they rate them

Tried looking for a picture but can't seem to find one. Do you know a member who has them fitted? Ideally want to buy the Heko ones at £25 but if i don't like the look of them i might buy from dealer instead  :(

Hello and welcome.

"Search" the forum and you shall find!  ;)

Installed Heko wind deflectors, did the job but sometimes the rear ones would fall out when opening and closing the window. Also because of the shape and how they are fitted on the front, when folding the electric mirrors, the wind deflector was get squished.

I had Heko deflectors on my 2005 Jazz and they were very good for the price. Easy to fit and remove, good quality plastic, quite durable. I got them from the 'bay, good deal.

Are they literally held on my sticky adhesive only? Or are they supported with clips too?

Each side has 2 x stainless steel spring clips that slide up into the channel and hold them secure. The springs have a tiny barb which means they are pretty secure from theft. Needs the window open and long nose pliers to insert/remove. Simple but effctive.
