Hi, not a Jazz owner has of yet, but I joined to look fir advice on what to llok out for when viewing a jazz and also common problems?

Check the steering before you buy for stiff and cloggy steering especially on the motorways its usally an indication to faulty rack which will need replacing (NEW)  resetting this will only last you a short time and not fix the problem ,

Is the power steering unit like the ep3?

Budget is a max of £3,800 but would prefer to spend less to save money. Not bothered about steering wheel controls or body kit.

But I would prefer fog lights, if anyone could point me in the right direction of purchasing a set?

Also anyone fitted a set of Accord Type R seat into a jazz? As I have a set sat in my room.

Yes the Jazz has EPS (Electric Power Steering) like the EP3 Civics but I don't know if it is the exact same system. Having driven an EP3 and Jazz back-to-back I found in my opinion the Jazz's steering to be heavier.

Always buy on condition and history (MoTs, service history) rather than miles and age.

Ebay would be your best bet.
