mileage between services
« on: March 10, 2011, 09:02:26 PM »
just been looking in the owners manual and it states oil changes 6250 miles or 12 months, they got to be joking, it cant go more than that on the oil, it should at least do 10,000 on fully synthetic

Surely it's 12500 (or what the service indicator control says). If a car is driven heavily, changing the oil sooner is better for the engine.

i wonder if you get it serviced say 8000 to 10000 in a 12 month period they will void your warranty if the service indicator has been on for a while

i think i will get this turned off at the first service and revert to annual services as i do 9000 to 10000 per year
