Rear seat armrest
« on: March 08, 2026, 10:42:34 AM »
The car has been in production for a few years now.
In Japan, it came with an armrest in the back seat.
Does anyone know if a version with that system was made in Europe?
Or do they know the part numbers for that seat or where to find them?
Thanks for the information.

Out of curiosity: Can the backrest with the armrest still be folded down?

If it's a similar design to the Civic then yes but wait for confirmation
Let's be careful out there !

I've not heard of it being an option in Europe.  You might be able to obtain one in Japan, but you might need to buy the whole rear seat, (2x backs and 2x base ), and the  upholstery may not match.  Could be very expensive..

A possible alternative is the following on UK ebay, but despatched from Germany. Its described as an armrest bag ,presumably because it functions like a seat armrest but easily removable like a bag if necessary Not ideal as it may take up space if you need to put the seat back down or carry 3 rear passengers.
It is quite expensive  but claims to be genuine Honda  ,'not a cheap aftermarket item '   It might be worth considering  (or one of the 'cheap after market items' if you can find  any for sale  ;D ).

Hi, thanks everyone for the replies.
I definitely don't plan on buying the entire rear seat in Japan; it would be a crazy expense. I was curious to know if they produced cars with an armrest in the rear seat in Europe, so I could do a search, perhaps even looking at used ones.
Is the Civic's rear seat the same as the Jazz's?
I've seen that armrest-style bag that fits in the rear seat, but I don't like it; it's not what I'm looking for. I'd like something more refined, just like the fold-down armrest found on Japanese models.

There's also the HR-V but I think that both it and the Civic are wider internally than the Jazz.
2025 Jazz Advance, previously 2022 HR-V Elegance, previously 2020 Jazz Crosstar
