Tail lights compatibility across Jazz models

Hi all,

I have a 2012 Honda Jazz Hybrid GP1 (GP18 to be exact). I need to replace the right-side rear light (tail light) assembly. From what I found, the right part number for this exact model is 33500-TF0-G71; it appears like an exact match on images I could find online. And, by the way, the left-hand unit's part number is 33550-TF0-G71.

My problem is, I only could find a few sellers mentioning this specific part number, and the prices are high (and/or they don't ship internationally / to my country). However, I do see other assemblies on sell, said to be compatible with GP1 model, at much better prices. Some of the part numbers I see there are 33500-TF0-H51, 33500-TF0-J51, 33500-TF0-J61, 33500-TF0-J71… From pictures, it looks like they are very similar, except the (color of) the outer "shell". Specifically, the 2nd one is for the non-hybrid 2012 Jazz.

Are these units mechanically and electrically compatible?

I cant comment on compatibility  , but if by "colour of the outer shell"  you mean the red etc  outer 'glass'  are different  you might need to replace both  sides not just one.  Even if a single unit would physically fit.
In the UK lights that ,when illuminated  are not equal and balanced  in colour / light intensity or general shape  would fail the annual MOT technical inspection  .This  may also happen in your country .   

Even a different intensity of red may make a difference, and some fundamental differences such as clear 'glass' instead of amber may not even  be legal in your country.
