Is there an easy way to drain the screen wash tank?

In case anyone hasn't seen my post from a couple of years ago:

I've emptied the screenwash bottle several times (when I didn't like the smell) by simply keeping the wash lever/button pressed/activated until it emptied. If you want you can lift the wipers from the screen while you are doing this. Then put some fresh water in and flush until you are happy the offending liquid is gone. If you are worried about flattening the battery, allow the engine to run while you are doing it. It won't take long. By doing it this way you also flush the pipes.

Syphoning the tank won't clean the pipes!

Not sure i'd bother buying a special syphon pump.  Sometimes when frosts arrive earlier than expected I too use the washers themselves to pump out most of the summer mix  and replace  with winter strength.  It doesnt take long and  a bit of a mixture doesnt matter.

I have used just a bit of clear plastic pipe , suck some fluid up and start  a natural syphon cycle when the drain side is lower than the lift side  .  But avoid getting any in your mouth as screenwash sometimes contains Bitrex which makes it taste horrible.     (To stop people drinking it by mistake. Some summer screen washes have a very convincing fruit juice smell   )

Then go with the theory that what's left will be highly diluted with new and a minute 'squirt' would clear the system
