Drivers door control buttons lights remain on
« on: September 17, 2023, 11:18:56 PM »
Hello!

I've just noticed my drivers side window control and door lock button lights remain on even when the car is OFF and the key is out of the ignition.

The doors can be unlocked and the windows open and closed using these buttons and those of the passenger side too.

Had anyone come across this problem before? How do I fix it? Many thanks!

Aren’t these on a timer? I remember being able to open and close the windows for about 1 or 2 minutes after turning the car off. If so, the solution is to wait or check the timer or relay connected to it.

My 2013 hybrid certainly is not on a timer. I wish it was, the number of times I forget to shut a window

My windows can be activated for a short period after switching the ignition off. However, my gripe is that the folding mirrors need the ignition on and I regularly forget to fold them in when parking at the supermarket!
