Two installs of My Honda+ not working

I have the My Honda+ app installed on my phone and my tablet. The app doesn't seem to want me to have two copies in use. Have you had the same issue?

That was the case on my Civic, it could only be registered to one device.
Let's be careful out there !

I don't believe you can log-in to 2 device with the same account at the same time, it uses the device ID as MFA.
To have a second device you would need to invite it as an invited driver with a separate email address/account, thou then some functionality is only available to the owner and not that additional invited drivers, like journey information.

I gave up trying to have the app on both my iPhone and iPad. It seems to want one device as the primary device and if you then attempt to use it on the secondary device you have to go through a load of security stuff. And if that succeeds then the primary device has issues.
So, I just keep it on my phone where the breakdown assistance feature (hopefully never needed) should be of benefit.

In related news.  On 18 Aug I reported to Honda that I could not get the app working when I moved to a new iPhone even though EVERY other app worked seamlessly.  On 31 Aug I chased them for an update.  In due course they responded "Our Digital engineers are currently still investigating this issue, as soon as they have provided us with a resolution, we shall be in contact".

I'm still waiting.

Husband is owner and wife is invited driver. (Or other way round depending on your relationship)

This is exactly how my Jazz is set-up in My Honda+

Only one install at a time for some reason. If they supply 2 keys with the vehicle then surely the should allow 2 installs.
Luckily my other half is not interested in using the app anyway, so not a problem.
