Mk4 and Mk1
« on: July 10, 2021, 07:29:00 PM »
Today I was climbing up from the Queensferry Crossing towards the A92 slip when a Crosstar overtook me. Immediately behind the Crosstar was a Mk1 Jazz. As the Crosstar returned to lane 1 the Jazz overtook the Crosstar and the two of them were side by side for a few seconds. The Mk 1 looked the taller of the two. Now I have checked the dimensions and the Crosstar is slightly taller (31mm) but whether it was the Jazz roof is higher than the Crosstar's or because the Jazz being a little narrower made it look taller, or maybe just the camber of the road but the Mk1 definitely looked the taller of the two.

Maybe the Crosstar roof rails are included in the overall height and the roof is indeed lower ?

Or even a difference in occupant numbers.
Let's be careful out there !
