Honda Jazz e:HEV WiFi hotspot
« on: November 05, 2020, 08:08:02 AM »
Honda Jazz MK4 have embedded WiFi hotspot, how to use it ?
Followed on screen instruction, that instruction side i need to enter att.com/honda and register my car for trial subscription, or connect to hotspot in car and open browser.
att.com/honda is for drivers live in USA or Canada, but tried anyway to enter my VIN number , in USA AT&T my VIN number not present.
Did someone outside of USA or Canada get this thing working ?
I seen that this service is advertised in Poland with subscription cost
In UK it`s advertised as part of My Hona Plus service.

I don't think Honda have got the details figured out yet. Here https://www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/my-honda-plus/in-car-wifi-subscription.html it refers to the FAQs but there's nothing in the FAQs about the hotspot. What is clear is that it is a subscription-based service with cost depending on usage. Without seeing the cost structure it is impossible to know if pricing is good compared to a data plan for a smartphone (which can also be used as a hotspot).
