Hi,

Would a 2009 Tailgate fit a 2013 Jazz? I understand that the bumper was altered in 2011, but not sure if that translates to an inability to swap between the two years specified.

When I was trying to find the difference tween a Mk3 and a Mk2 tailgate, I made a paper template of the width and bottom 12 inches and compared them. 15mins of tracing saved an awful lot of grief.

In general terms the metalwork stays the same thorough a model lifetime and it's the bolt on parts that change with a facelift. I don't think you would consider the tailgate to be a bolt on part and the outline, profile, hinge and shut lines should all be the same as the body opening would not have varied.

From pictures I would say that they are the same; the lower bumper profile with rear reflectors and the light clusters lenses changed but that's about it.

Thanks for the advice TG, it's very much appreciated. From what I've read the bumpers are slightly different, but that's the only change to the rear that I can find.
