Relay or fuse
« on: March 04, 2016, 09:37:41 AM »
Hello there, maybe someone has a link or know anything about such thing - I  can't open doors with the alarm remote, but remote works when engine runs, also I lost power to radio, dome lights and celling lights. It happened at the same time. Any ideas? Thanks a million...

From memory I think its fuse 8 - 15amp fuse that controls all the items you have issues with.
If fuse fails agian you need to identify the break/short could even be blown blub.

Yep olduser1 has it, engine bay fuse 8 (15A) is the one for the remote locking *, it's also wired to accessory power on dash fuse 16 (7.5A).

Thanks for advice. I found my fault. My son played a "piggy bank" with a radio and it was constantly blowing fuse. At least I know ho to remove the  radios now :)

I must have had the same thing happen at the same time
I don't get why they put central locking on the same fuse as the radio
Is it worth changing it
