The trouble with being an old 'person', yes there is another word beginning with 'f' I thought I had transgressed the rules.
I put up the post about using a special wheel wax and when I went to look at my post for suggestions I saw it had been moved and a lock had been put alongside it

What do I now find, I had jumped the gun and completely misread the 'signs', there was no problem, only me.
Thanks to you all for your input, what makes it worse, is, if only I had checked there was already a post on this very subject of wheel cleaning and protection.
So chaps and chapesses, I am sorry to have messed you about and also an apology to the administrator for the misunderstanding.
I promise I will try harder next time.
