Green *C light on dash?
« on: June 24, 2014, 05:58:29 PM »
Hi everyone, today for around 2 miles I had a green *C light appear on my 2004 jazz sport dashpod, I know it must be temperature related but can anyone tell me what this is?

I don't have a owners manual with the car or I would check in there.

Thanks in advance.  :)

I think you will find that it is the 'coolant under temperature' indicator. In other words it is telling you that the engine is not yet up to normal running temperature.
It should appear on every cold start.

Green? Isn't that C light supposed to be blue?

On the GE Jazz it's blue, but my mum says on her GD Jazz it's green.

I think it should go red if the temp gets too high. So it is a dual purpose indicator.
