Fierce brakes at low speed

It's all down to 'muscle memory' which only comes with practice. Unless the brakes are technically faulty. Changing from another car to the Jazz, I initially had that experience, too. Now I like the feel of the brakes.

Try reading the Break-in Period on page 262 in the manual.

Avoid hard braking for the first 300 km (200 miles)

The brakes need to be broken in gently to avoid fierce brakes, my Jazz has done nearly 200 miles and the brakes feel good without being over sensitive.
