Hi, just bought a new Jazz 1.4 EX. Am trying to import the contacts from my Samsung S3 to the Hands free telephone system?

Any ideas/shortcuts please?

Kind regards

I thought this was a bluetooth device and communicated to your mobile phone via a bluetooth receiver in the radio?  My wife's CR-V works like that.  When I get in it displays "Samsung S4 detected" and when a call comes in, it mutes the radio and you can hear the caller's voice via the audio system.  There is a microphone at the bottom of the sun-visor

Hi, yes the HFT picks up the phone and is paired with the Samsung ok.

If I receive a call, I pick up via the HFT and it works fine.

But I need to import a number of my contacts into the HFT, so that I can calla stored number direct from the HFT..

Kind Regards

Well, I looked in the book about the sound system in the CR-V and it does not say a word about Contacts.  It would be useful I suppose

This video explains a few things, plus I think what you are asking:

I`ve got an after-market radio fitted in my Jazz and I have no option to copy the contacts into the unit but a few minutes after each pairing all of my contacts automatically copied into it can I can call anyone from there.

Just press the talk button and say 'Hands free help' then listen to the options.

Personally, I just added five close contacts (wife, home and kids mostly) manually, so that I can just speak their names to call them. Don't really want more than that as cars are for driving, not holding meetings.
