new Jazz Crosstar
« on: March 29, 2026, 09:23:27 AM »
hi, just received a new Honda Jazz Crosstar last week (see avatar). 2026 is the year of construction but I think it is just the same model as 2025 (mk4). I love it. I come from a 2013 Suzuki 2.0 DDIS and this Honda is such a little luxurious gem.

I am looking to implement a dashcam. I seen some posts on here but I do not want to mess around with wires. I am looking for an integrated dashcam (basically plug and play, OEM-style dashcam) and found the company Fitcamx (google it for the site name). I already contacted them and it seems I can use the HD2-6519 model they advertise on their site for the HRV.

Did anyone use this model in the latest Honda Jazz Crosstar? I am in Europe but I think in Asia the Fit Crosstar is the same.

thanks, I seen later that I should not discuss other topics (like the dashcam). I decided for the Viofo a229pro 2CH over the fitcamx because of the reviews that i read. I will first attach it via the 12V cigarette socket and maybe later try a hardwire.

If you do decide on a hardwire then Steve_M was selling the official Honda fusebox accessory connector

That's what I used in my installation thread and is way better than piggybacks that can, although rare, overload a circuit if you choose the wrong one
Let's be careful out there !

thanks, yes I seen your thread. I think I first run the 12V socket setup. I ordered both (also the hardwire setup). I can install the hardwire setup without attaching it (parallel to the 12V socket setup). Will have to do some additional research for the hardwire setup
