Hi all. I need some urgent advice please. My wife has a 2013 jazz manual which has been brilliant however, for the past year it has had the abs light coming on intermittently. Driving has been fine but the light occasionally appeared. We just took it for an MOT for which new pads, discs, 1 rear caliper that was sticking and a few other bits were done. As we collected the car, the engineer that had road tested it said the abs light had come on during the test and the brakes were applied which gave him a massive fright.
My questions are. For a 2013 jazz. Is it possible that the brakes could have been triggered without the driver braking? How would you expect it to show itself? The garage tested for codes and found none. They also tested all reads from each sensor which they say was also fine.
Any thoughts would be welcome.
