Well, yes, but that doesn't protect the sides and back of the seats.
Agreed, but neither does a regular boot liner. Bonus with our curtain arrangement, it was free and when I fold the seats down it will cover the entire area.

Look at hatchbag covers, not cheap by any means but will outlast the vehicle

For now, I ordered this.
It's just for occasional use. I'd rather have something permanent and good looking like I show in the link examples in my first post.

They look great but just a bit expensive

Great spot Stani. Let us know what it’s like when you receive it as I might get one for myself

I bought a tailored boot tray for my 23 reg Crosstar I've had since March.
It was £27 on eBay and is excellent.
I'd had CRVs for nearly thirty years before that and it was no problem getting my tour golf bag and leccy trolley in the boot.

This car needed a different approach.

On golf days, I lower both back seats and place a heavy duty 120cm x 80cm rubber mat I also bought on eBay for a tenner, across the backs of  these seats, which completely protects them.
I can then slide in my golf trolley in its bag, my golf bag next to it and there's still plenty of room for a sports bag, golf shoes, and trolley battery.

So I already have the sheet at home.

It's thin but sturdy. Plus, it has a Velcro fastener on the back.
In terms of size, it's just right for the Jazz, I can't imagine it for a bigger car.

It will provide some protection against dirt, that's for sure. It's not exactly ideal for covering all areas, but for the money it's worth it.
Other multi-layered ones would also be considered: e.g. 1, 2, 3.

I also purchased a net (90x30 cm).

Something a little off topic.

Well, this is a Marathon thread! (Mild humour for our U.K. contributors).

Speaking as a tight wadd; from someone who transferred the perfectly fitting floor mats from his previous MK.3 Jazz, to his MK4 creation, I find the one tonne sand or gravel bag, from Wickes or B&Q, is the perfect container for taking garden refuse to the local tip.
It’s got a back, sides, and a top. What more could you ask for!
