Digital Service Record
« on: July 16, 2024, 10:17:48 AM »
I bought my new Jazz in July 2023, and when I received it it didn’t come with a service book as I believe this is all done digitally now. The car’s first service was carried out over 2 weeks ago.

I logged into the Honda website and inputted my VIN, and can see the PDI when I collected the car last year, but the 1st service still hasn’t been logged. I called the dealer last week to enquire about this and was told the service advisor has neglected to update the system, and it would be done in the next couple of days. It has now been well over a week and it still hasn’t been done and I feel like I’m being fobbed off.

Has anyone else had a problem with their dealer not inputting the digital service record? It’s actually quite frustrating that I’m having to chase this. If Honda can’t get its dealers to use these systems, they really shouldn’t be rolling them out!!

Can a printout of the service be done if requested ? I have always got a paper copy of what has been carried out on my VW T Cross when the car is serviced

They did give me a printout receipt stating the car had its 12,500 mile service, but i still think there should be one place you can look at to view the car’s service history.

They sent me a video of the mechanic doing the checks, I saved a copy to my computer. Never realised I could log in to somewhere to see the written results.

Assuming your dealer can be bothered to update the system, that is.

My dealer couldn’t even be bothered to do the battery health check or do the video that had been done on earlier services anymore.

I noticed that there seemed to be more KIA cars in the workshop, maybe the writing is on the wall aligned to the brake feel simulator failures and overpriced new cars being sold at extortionate prices with Honda offering cash contribution incentives on them now!?
