Isn’t that a Dacia Sandero?

I dig your comment, but would choose Renault 4 any day over a Dacha thingy.
In 1987, for some reason I can't really remember, I bought a Renault 5 1.7GTX. The fastest car I have ever owned and a weird mixture of basic engineering, complex gadgets, plush finish and acres of plastic. It was wonderful fun.

Yes, my 1963 Renault 4 (3 speed, 6V electrics) was as versatile as my Jazz, but much simpler!

I think the Mk4 will remain (possibly with a couple of facelifts) until Honda is ready for an all-electric Jazz.

Sorry! Back on topic, I'd like a bit more feel in the steering for Mk5 and a slightly more coherent front-end design.

I think Mazda have one of the best design languages out there and I've love to see Honda do the same (but with a bit of Honda flair). The Honda E was a great start!

Interior packaging and design for this generation are spot on though and I'm largely very happy with my Crosstar choice!

I was reading a foreign car magazine recently- for all the models on sale they list introduction date, midlife refresh and end of life.

They have this for the Jazz Mk 4 (in Europe):

Introduced 2020

Midlife refresh 2024

End of life 2028

So, maybe 2028 before the Mk 5 is launched.

Not sure I'll be around that long!

Yes, “End of life” is an ominous phrase!

Apple has some unusual terms for their equipment:

Between 5-7 years old it’s vintage.

After 7 years it’s classed as obsolete!

I thought Apple has settled on 6 months before equipment is obsolete  :o

Someone on the forum recently shared an interesting ‘moose avoidance test’ for the Mk4 and it did pretty well

I find it great at going round sharp corners, probably due to the short nose, and it’s brill compared to my previous estate car

But still getting used to / finding the best setting for general road driving. Due to rack up some miles/experience this weekend.

The styling should indeed be more aggressive / less cutesy on the next one, longer (allowing more usable boot space, bigger battery)
