I just heard someone say that the current fuel debacle has been orchestrated to stop us moaning about E10 petrol.

Nobody seems to be fussed how much ethanol it contains now.

I was wondering if it might cause problems further up the pipeline, as it were especially with the new blend.
Petrol is the ultimate Just in Time product. If the refineries are geared up for x million gallons per week and the demand this week is for 2or 3 times x million gallons and then in the next few weeks the demand is much reduced, will this not cause problems at the refineries?
