monkeydave, you're a star. I've just had a play around with my Jazz and, of course, you're dead right. Thank you for enlightening me. Is this behaviour documented or did you just notice it?

Many thanks for all your help, it is appreciated.  I’m just going to try and ignore it for the time being, and tackle it again another time.  I’ve been driving for 45 years and find all these warnings very distracting and unnecessary.  Best wishes!
