Title: Cabin filter
Post by: Lewo on March 01, 2018, 10:05:15 AM
Is it worth paying the extra to get a charcoal one over a standard one?

I looked on ECP with their many deals and was going to go for a Mann make.
Seen that Opie do service parts as well as oil but when I put my reg in their system it only lists oils and none of the service parts which is strange?

The only difference is that the activated carbon ones are supposed to absorb odours. I get carbon ones direct from China, they are about 4 quid on ebay for the Jazz.

In fact, I have one here in front of me ready to go in. If you can plan ahead and wait a couple of weeks for delivery, no problem.

Yes, they're absolutely fine. They probably all come from China anyway...

...even my 08 Jazz was built in China!

This is the one I have here

Mine's a GE3 too. it says GD1 on the listing, but all the mk.1 2002-2008 are the same.
