Title: What is yellow steering wheel with exclamation mark?

Hi everyone,

I noticed a yellow steering wheel with exclamation mark on the dashboard which darkens when I start the engine. Is this how it is supposed to be? And if not, what does it mean?

Hi J@zzy.

Does it stay illuminated once the engine has started if it does then it could be a power steering fault and should be checked.

its the  immobilizer checking the key that it is yhe right code i will start your car and the light will go off

If it wont start it will keep flashing the yellow steering wheel light which you are refering to and somthing is wrong with the immobilizer check.

No, it goes dark once engine is running.
