When I traded in my Jazz you said you wouldn't mind if I reported back. I bought a MK7 VW GTI and, touch wood my fears of reliability issues have been unfounded. It is just out of warranty and I have had no issues at all. This is a superb car in every way and there is nothing I don't like about it. I've have seen my Jazz around locally and spoken to the owner a couple of times and he is very happy with it although he doesn't seem to treat it as well as I did.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Golf. A Mk7 GTi is on my shopping list for my next car - 18's, cloth seats, manual and five doors would be my choice spec. But due to VW flogging the Golf R on a ridiculously low two year lease deal, there are plenty of Rs for sale but virtually no Mk7 GTis around. Not so keen on the four wheel drive Golf R, not least because of the stories of the keys to Rs being pinched whilst the owners are sleep (it happened to a VW press car on loan to CAR magazine).
