If you have fully comprehensive insurance the replacement glass should be covered, so just the insurance excess to pay, £50??

My experience with them is next day or 48hr service.
If you cannot leave the car in a secure/dry location they will glue in a piece of plexiglass same day.
No idea of cost as company paid, but should be covered under special glass section of your policy with it's own excess.

If cost is your principle concern then breakers may cheesewire one out for you to glue in yourself.

 Thanks all,
I will have to go with autoglass, but get this....the total cost will be £281 ! Guess the insurance and excess will get a bashing :)
