My local garage recommended this in past and I have booked oil change at National Tyre. Is this really suitable oil for Jazz 2008 CVT?
-
Suitable for engine - but not CVT box LOL
plenty of opinions on oil on this forum just search oil or engine oil.
Any decent brand semi synth or synth 5-30 or 10-40
Not sure what brand of oil national franchise chains use, but I'm supposing it will be from a nameless 45 gallon drum and they will fill every car with same oil.

Thanks, they say Fusch oil, which seems to be fairly reputed. Getting concerned if they fill oil from huge nameless drum

Fuchs oil is OK, they used to be called silkolene and made some of the first synthetic oil, original company based in stoke-on-Trent and Fuchs took them over to get technology (the Germans do that frequently) - personally I like castrol and have never had a problem despite doing 25 to 30k a year and keeping cars at least 5 years on average.

Got oil changed today from National Tyres, saw improvement in acceleration already. Oil was from barrel and filter was Mann filter from Honda

I see that Honda recommends OW-20 but all local garages want to use OW-30

I have used Castrol edge 0-30w fully synthetic in my Mk2 Jazz , Costco has offers every now and then.
Would recommend OPIE oils just key in your make and or Reg the website does it for you - great oil at competative £'s

In our temperate UK climate 5W-30 is fine, I have never payed over £30 for oil for jazz or civic, my motorbike is different with its integral engine gearbox (shared oil) and wet clutch which need specific oil, and also bike engines are more highly stressed than car lumps.

Would recommend OPIE oils

I would also recommend them, they are about a mile down the road from my house and always helpful with good prices.

I visited their site but it came up
