As the sun has decided to show itself, I am reminded of a job I put off last year.
Back last summer, I wanted to put the rear of the back seat down on the drivers side. Well after a bit of anglo saxon I eventually got the blessed catch to release. A few days sulk and then I decided to have a look see. I could find nothing untoward and apart from the screw that holds the 'embelisher' on the top of the seat ( disappeared in to the bowels of the back seat) all worked well except now the lever on the top of the rear seat will not lay flat. Thanks to Honda, the seat cover is easy to move aside to get to the mechanism. The bowden cable seems to take a tortuous route to the lever but short of a total dismantle of the seat back I could see nothing wrong, any thoughts? It does say in the ' on line workshop manual' to be careful not to stretch the bowden cable!!!! Having ridden M/C's and been around bowden cables I find it hard to believe that this is what I have done. No cable available except as a complete rear latch package at circa £90. It's not the end of the world but blinking annoying.
Grateful for any input.

If you can , ask your local honda garage for a PDF drawing of all the parts of the mechanism.
That way you can see where all parts should go , whats missing....if anything.
