Hi, Help please does any on know what the colour of genuine Honda CVT fluid should be, as used for a 2012 EX cvt.
I have posted questions regarding loss of power at low speeds in the forum and the problem was solved when the CVT fluid was drained the box was flushed and refilled and the problem was solved.
I had the car serviced in January (2016) and I ask for the cvt fluid to be changed as I didn't want the problem to come back, well it's back (for the last 7-10 days) and when I checked the CVT fluid level the fluid was almost clear, it had a very light tint of fawn when I wiped the dipstick wit kitchen roll, I'm sure that when it was filled last year the fluid had a strong red-ish colour.
I have to say that if we can't get the problem solved we will have to say tat-ta to the Honda but we really don't want to. The car has 20,000 miles on the clock.
Thank you for taking the time to read my plea.

Thank you so much for your help. I now know that the fluid put in my car is not the correct one as it clear.
I will be taking it to the Honda dealer in the morning to sort it, or someone out.
