Hello,
I am new to the forum and have signed up as my 2008 Honda Jazz CVT has an issue that I can't figure out. I bought the car as an Approved Used from the Honda dealer in Rochdale in Dec 15'.
Anyway...
Whilst driving at ~40mph last weekend the car suddenly starting bucking; by bucking I mean dropping rev's and making the car lurch forward. This lasted for ~2min and then stopped. My wife thought I was doing it deliberately doing it and told me to stop!
Since that time the issue has reoccurred very intermittently, usually when accelerating. The issue doesn't appear to happen when the engine is cold and no warning lights are displayed. I have also code read the car with a basic reader and this showed nothing up.
My thoughts were (from least scary to most):
Bad fuel
Water in the fuel
Fuel filter/ fuel pump issue
Coli pack/ spark plug issue
CVT issue
If anyone has any suggestions I am open all ears! The car is booked in for a service tomorrow (29/02).
Cheers,
Martin

Sounds like a loose connection on the ignition side, coil pack or spark plug.
Also the EGR valve could be the issue.

i think you would get a engine light with a coil pack or egr valve, could be bad fuel maybe

will be spark plug/spark plug coil/EGR valve :'(

My Jazz had its service and the issue appears resolved; I now doubt it was dodgy fuel and suspect a loose/ dirty connection (I requested all were cleaned).
Additionally, the spark plugs were also changed.
Thanks for all the responses!
