Title: Fog Light Surround
Post by: Ozzie on February 23, 2016, 09:43:15 PM
Hi All,

My Jazz is wounded !

Whilst whizzing down the A1 something dropped off a lorry and bounced across the road and hit my nearside foglight, smashing the plastic surrounding the front foglight, the light itself is fine, as is the bumper (I think). However I am struggling to find a replacement part, although I am only looking on Ebay and online. I will try breakers and Honda tomorrow.

My query is: Are all front fog lights the same for Hybrids and non-hybrids??

Thanks

Thanks, but that only goes up to 2009.

I have found a Hybrid being broken, in the correct colour (I think) so I have enquired about that part. Otherwise its off to the main stealer for the part and spray paint.

I had exactly the same issue years ago when driving a SAAB on the M6, a lorry carrying quarry stone on the other carrigeway let loose some rocks , one of which bounced across and broke the ns fog lamp.
Near miss still happening.
The fog light should be the same , did you try these?

Cheers. I have found a few Jazzes at breakers, but it seems that breakers are selling the front bumper as a whole item. Motor factors can't get the part, and suggest going to Honda. I will try BreakerYard, thanks.

No responses from BreakerYard yet.

I have been to Honda, they have quoted me £84 for the trim, painted and it can be delivered in 24 hours. My car is in for a service tomorrow, so I have decided to wait for 24 hours incase BreakerYard come up with one, otherwise I will go with a new one.

Cheers??

No replies from Breakeryard, so I have ordered the part from Honda when dropping the car off for its service and replacement seat fitting.
