As I have posted on the MK3 forum I have found that the drivers seat on my 5 year old MK2 has sagged.
Its getting too uncomfortable to drive far as I'm feeling every bump.
Has anybody else had problems with the MK2 seats,
I may add that I weigh 135 kilos

my drivers seat seems to be getting more shiny with some wrinkles i hope the cloth stands up

I too am a chunky guy, so I have bought a new drivers seat from a breakers yard for £90, it will be fitted on Thursday, I have now noticed that it sags too, so thats another reason to replace it, along with the worn bolster and small tear.
-
But I have only done 20,000 miles and my local Honda dealer wants £1000 to change it

OUCH ! Mine has quoted £110 to fit the seat I am supplying. So I would suggest looking at breakers too.

I may have accidently fixed it.
To make it easier to look underneath I pumped the seat height up and when I dropped it down to the normal position the seat is OK now.
I don't know why that worked but ...

When te seat is at its lowest position I think you can feel the seat frame under the seat base, unfortunately I have a small gap betweek the seat base and the seat back, but I think I am the only one that feels it due to my weight ;)

I have my seat in the lowest position as well and have noticed a knocking noise so could well be the same. This goes if I slightly pump the seat up which I will do in future.
