Title: rattle....

hi all

i've got a constant rattle in the back when driving.

it seems to be coming from the n/s inner trim panel (no 18 in the picture)

has anyone else got/had the same rattle & any suggestions to stop it?

The only rattle, (from new), in my Jazz. Was caused by the tailgate catch.

I adjusted the loop inwards, by a couple of mm's. Silence........  :)

I've looked at parcel shelf and all s OK there...

The Missis is more a crashing cymbal and foghorn than rattle  :-[

If you have them , grab your tools and have a look yourself.

Mines still in guarantee, so honda do all the fault finding :)

But i do enjoy finding and fixing stuff , its a great feeling of accomplishment. ;)

Seat catches have been known to have play in them. Undo the seat back and lean it forward to see if the noise disappears.

it seems to have been the seat catches.

used insulating tape around the 'striker' bar.

This is a common fault wich is very annoying but easily cured with tape
