Mine was £282 with LV

Ours was around £200 with LV but that with £0 excess, guaranteed NCD and both the "kids" (late 20's) on it and everyone (including the kids) is covered for business use.

I think LV's premiums are very sensitive to where you live - we're in rural Cheshire.  I did a comparison on my Merc for someone in Leeds LS1 but with everything else as per my details and the premium was more than 3x mine.

Some years ago when I was trawling for quotes I got one that was ridiculously high so I phoned the company for an explanation.
The less than bright person I spoke to said it was because I lived in Nottingham. I asked how she worked that out and she said it's because your postcode is NG.
I asked her what the county I had given was and she said confirmed Lincolnshire.
I said that that isn't Nottingham is it but she insisted that Lincolnshire is in Nottingham as did her supervisor when I spoke to him.
Be warned, they are out there somewhere!!

Vic.

£245 for my driver including 17 year old learners  ;D

driving schools are generally not that expensive due to the fact there is a
qualified driver in the car and having dual controls fitted

Don.'t forget to query any quote when renewimng, then scout around for cashback via quidco
never accept the renewal £ then use compare the market etc.
I gave up on protected NCB and had lower quotes.....

I recently renewed with the Co-op for £167. Slightly up on the previous year.

£767 with the co-op i really dont know where they get the prices from,i am of the thinking
the quotes come out of a lucky dip box.
we have had a quote of £420 from esure  ,kath works for the nhs so i used the discount
that health care workers have and the esure quote with discounts came in at just under £1000
how can 2 esure quotes be so far apart ???

Just got my renewal from aviva for 481 GBP with 2 years of no claim, an accident at not my fault, and motor legal.... I used their app, drove for 200 miles and score 9.6 out of 10.... it was the more convenient for me. :)

£246.98 with Privilege. For two years my  renewal has been less than anything on comparison websites and Aviva and Direct Line. Also checked on Quidco and Topcashback. Best quote was about £15 more than my renewal.
Includes legal and protected ncd, in Leeds, W Yorks.
Happy to stay with them as I know their service is good. Needed to claim when someone ran into back of me.
