Title: Is my Jazz crash damaged?
Post by: guest4401 on November 30, 2013, 03:26:49 PM
Hi everyone, I bought a 2004 Jazz about a month ago and I finally got around to vacuuming it today. I got a nasty surprise when I took up the carpet around the spare tyre as it looked to me as though the car had possibly been in a seriously accident and clumsily repaired. Please could anyone have a look at the attached photos and let me know if Jazzes normally look like this? If not, perhaps I should take it to a garage and have it inspected to make sure it is safe to drive and it doesn't have any other problems I don't know about. Thanks for reading!

looks OK to me.

if the car had been in a severe rear shunt i would of expected to see the metalwork damaged i.e. rippled/twisted

If it's the sealant you're worried about, that's how they are all finished
