I have a 2002 GD with a radio cassette unit. The radio does not work as no sound emanates although the display indicates tuning etc. is OK.
Assuming that it is not repairable I see that it is possible to replace this with a radio CD unit.
My question is this :- will a radio CD unit with the large selector knob like this:-

Fit where the original radio cassette like this, but a cassette not a cd slot is currently fitted?

Great - many thanks for the information. I think I have located a radio CD from a breaker - just waiting for a picture to confirm it's the right one for a straight swap.

This is surely a direct replacement, as it is shown as an alternative unit to the radio cassette, in my Jazz owner's handbook?
I get this will I still need an aerial adaptor, do you think?
Thanks in advance for advice. ;)
