Just got a second hand Jazz, what an absolute bargain, ::) :D :P its as good as brand new, mint condition, only 20,000 miles and a fraction of its cost new! Its so easy to drive!
Could anyone help me with a few questions?
1. It is running on Yokohama 165/75/R14 s, does anyone know how long they tend to last the average driver? They`ve still got a fair amount of tread and I assume they are the originals.
2. When I change the tyres I want to swap the standard wheels for alloys, but 14"s are fairly scarce, can you switch straight to 15 inch with no adjustments, or does the speedometer/ mileometer need adjusting or anything?
Cheers

As long as the outside diameter of the tyre is the same as Honda Jazz standard tyre then the speedo will be correct.
The speedo is aware that one revolution of the tyre moves the car a certain distance, it does not care about how big the rim diameter is, it is the outside tyre diameter (hence the circumference) that is important.
