Neat Jazz with good photos, not sure about the mudflaps though.
Maybe yours need a HKS exhaust.....

Looking good. Looks like a fully spec'd out Jazz you have there :P! 58 plate must of set you back a fair bit :D!

Tints look good, though not sure about the rear windscreen with the tinting over the honda dealer sticker :P!

In my opinion, get rid of the mud flaps and the side mouldings and it will look spot on!

Do I spot painted calipers :P? I presume the previous owner did them? Im doing mine next month, only in blue ;)!

The colour looks really different in your pictures, almost green.

I think I might have to get my self a Mugen Badge after seeing yours :D

Nice car, 58 plate must be one of the last GD's.

Thank you for your kind comments,
I have painted the calipers red in keeping with Honda racing.
Mugen badge on the rear from that great god ebay!!
I have put the mud flaps on, must be an age thing having owned several M2 RS Escorts in the past. Would like a nice exhaust system on but that will have to wait a bit.
I am not sure if this is one of the last GD jazz, would like to find out if it is?
I purchased it Oct 2010 with only 8000 miles on the clock one previous owner, from a Honda dealers who sold it originally.

Looks good good color choice too. Please excuse my ignorance but not being from the UK what is so special about 58 plates? I have seen them mentioned in a couple of posts.

58 plate means the car was registered between 1 September 2008 – 29 February 2009.

The reason why its "special" in this instance is because the new shape Jazz came out on October 17th 2008, so this was probably one of the very last GD shape Jazz's to be build ;)!

Hope that clears everything up.

If you want to read more about the UK number plate system, have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom#Great_Britain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom#Great_Britain)

Check your logbook as it will have the reg date. Or click on this link (http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/) and select Vehicle Enquiry on the left, then click Next and enter your reg number and select Honda from the drop-down list.

As said, the GE came out in October 2008 but some unsold GD cars were still available afterwards. I've seen 1.2 S GDs on 09 plates.

Honda UK were stuck with a batch of 1.2's when the country was still in the grip of "banking melt down" maybe these were 1st reg and farmed out to the network

I had no problem, Just take out the old, and fit the new. So long as you follow the instructions that come with it, you cant go wrong really! I put the warning sticker on top of the box, so it wont be mistakenly replaced when your car is in for a service! I also gave the inside of the airbox a good clean as well.

Hope all goes well!

Hi All.
K & N fitted last Friday, easy as Chris Music says.
45 mpg going up to North Wales into a strong head not for getting the rain(horizontal) wind, 267 miles.
Filled up today another 268 miles later and 46 mpg.
Need to run it around town now and check again, working it out not relying on the reading on the dash.
I would say with the K & N fitted the car feels alot smoother than before i don't feel that i am having to push the throttle down as hard to make it pick up and go if that makes sense. Did wonder about induction noise but that hasn't changed. even Mrs Reggy says its smoother!!!
Looking at exhausts now ??
How you getting on with yours Chris?
Take care out there
John :)
