Title: Perma Notification

My notifications always show a minimum count of 1?

This morning it went up to 2 because of a software upgrade, which I installed, and the count went back down to 1.

Cleared all the messages.  Anyone else got this or know what the elusive notification is?

maybe you have the "data sharing" on Off (default is On).
It is somewhere in the settings menu.
I have switched it to Off because I didn't want Honda to get all my whereabouts and God knows what else they are collecting and then sell it.
Since then I also have a permanent alert red dot with 1 in it, and just ignore it.

With a 2024 Honda your car should still be under warranty - so, what does your dealership of choice say about this issue?

Definitely not a warranty issue.
