Just an 'FYI', really. I received a letter from Honda (UK) today, informing me that my local Honda Car Sales Retailer is no longer selling Honda vehicles. The dealer in question is Hendy Group - they're a large concern (30+ outlets), covering most of the South of England. They continue to sell/service Kia, Hyundai, JAECOO, and many other makes.
Interestingly, the letter says "Hendy Honda remains authorised to fulfil all of your servicing and warranty requirements and any other aftersales needs", so hopefully no 20-mile+ trips to the next nearest Honda outlet. (I appreciate some of you would kill for a mere 20-mile journey to the nearest service!)

Another Honda dealer gone :(
Here's a map of the Hendy dealer locations:

Is it their decision or Honda, why wouldn't they not want to sell cars, whatever make. Sounds like Honda pulling out of this country gradually.

I have looked at the data from Mitshubishi as they left the country in 2020/2021 and just got back to the UK.
Mitsubishi had a peak in 2014ish with 60k cars. A year before they left, they were selling about 9k cars a year.
I've done the same check with Honda but I asked my dear gpt on steroids to think for 5 minutes and bring me the 10 years data for the UK.
