When I try to use the internet browser on my 2017 Jazz, a message appears saying 'A secure connection could not be established ', and the system states that this browser is no longer supported. It's running Android 4.0.4, which has been obsolete for a long time. Does anyone know how to get the browser working, or do I have to accept that it will never work again? I wonder if other owners of Jazzes of this age are in the same situation. Thank you

It's many years since I've tried this, so this is from memory. How are you trying to connect? The Jazz does not have inbuilt network connectivity, you have to go via another device, eg a phone. You have to set your phone up as a WiFi hotspot (aka "tethering") then connect the car's WiFi to that hotspot.
If you've done that with no joy, then the message you're getting sounds like it might be generated by the website you're trying to access. It's entirely possible that advances in website technology mean that the old browser in the car will no longer work with a modern website. Just guessing though.

Thank you for trying to help. Yes, I'm using my phone as a WiFi hotspot, which works perfectly with my Freeview Play box and my printer, but the Honda Connect system just says that this browser is no longer supported, or that a secure connection could not be established

Most standard head units are absolute garbage, honda included.
The best upgrade you can do is to get a joying head unit as others including myself have done.
You can then run just about any android app, everything is so fast, carplay works, and it's just a dream to have compared to the old outdated useless thing which was son there.

Hi. That's an interesting possibility. I'll look into it. Thank you for your very helpful suggestion.
