Title: ODB2 scanner that will work on Jazz e-hev
Post by: perdrix on January 19, 2026, 09:30:06 AM
Jazz - 6 days out of warranty, engine light is on solid (at least not blinking).

I connected an ODB-II reader but it just scanned a few components and then said "linkage error" or similar.

Can you guys recommend reasonably priced scanner (e.g.BLE ODB-II plug and Car Scanner ELM) that will work with this vehicle?

Ask your dealer, surely they would still come out?

Could you call out Honda Assist if you are still covered, they will scan it for faults

I did call out Honda Assist, and they reset an Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor error and it didn't come back.

I am however still looking for recommendations ...

Thanks
David

i have the Autel MK808 scanner and to be honest it does not give a lot of info, its ok on other makes, i think its just honda not releasing info
Just scanned mine and it's come up with 2 codes with no lamp showing on the dash, the codes will not erase so when i take it in for the free service will ask them about it

My recommendation is to bring the car to your Honda dealership of choice!
(6 days out of warranty shouldn't be that much of an issue)

At least you would know exactly what the ailment is!
