Title: Mk1 Jazz sunroof keeps opening by itself!

My 2004 Jazz has been sat up for a while. Now sunroof overrides controls and self-opens. To get it to respond to shut control, I have to thump the headlining hard to the rear r/h side of the sunroof where it appears the motor controls are. Has anyone successfully sorted this out? I am guessing there is some kind of debris jamming the mechanism.
