Title: 2014 Honda Jazz
Post by: cgs11 on July 04, 2025, 02:58:10 PM
New to Honda and an automatic. Will try not to ask too many obvious questions. Just noticed Eco light on the display which I assume means I was driving economically. Hunted the owners manual but cannot see where I would turn that off if I wanted to!
Regards,
Chris.

It's a green button, low right of the steering column. With "ECO" on it

You would not believe how many times I have looked but will look again. Thank you for the reply My car is Honda Jazz ES + i-vtec cvt. Wondering if that makes a difference on how you turn off eco. Thanks again!

The hybrid can be set to eco on or eco off. The non-hybrid (for certain types) has an amber eco light that lights up when the engine runs under optimum conditions; you cannot influence that (except by pressing the accelerator). It is just an informative light (like in the nineties e-vtec).
I remember being jealous that my 2010 1.2 did not have the eco light…
