Hi, looking some advice as I'm sure some of you drivers may have bought more than one JAzz at the moment. Found a 2014 (reg end dec 2014) Honda Jazz 1.3 IMA HX-T. It has 42,000 miles on the clock. I can stretch to this price. Like the fact that it has £10 tax. Like the fact that its top of the range in terms of Trim. Not so keen on the fact that its white but I can live with it. Comes with 6 months warranty and I have the option of a further 3years warranty for £370 approx. I believe from my reading this is a mark 2 car as mark 3's (as I understand it did not come in a hybrid.)
My question is that for the same money (approx 8.5k). I can buy possibly a mark 3 or an older mk 2 with lower mileage?
Trying to weigh up whether the more mpg I get by having a hybrid and low road tax is better than some of the other options out there? Any advice? 3 days a week I do longer mileage on Motorway (100 miles return) but the rest is local/urban driving...
Anyone had both a hybrid of this year and previously or later a non hybrid..... thoughts? Thanks

Your best bet is to drive both vehicles over familiar roads.
The Mk2 has old technology the Mk3 drives completely differently and hopefully a petrol engine 1.3 or even 1.5 sport.
Avoid low mileage cars they are not a good buy, any used car in UK 10 years + its all about condition eg do you know the make of tyre do 4/5 wheels tyres match etc etc
Never part with your £ before taking time to check its history as 7 out of 10 cars have a story = avoid.
These days I use vehiclescore co uk even their free report is a worthwhile read.
