Title: HONDA Mk3 Jazz EX electric windows sticking sometimes
Post by: Twinkie on August 25, 2024, 01:59:01 PM
Hello
perhaps some kind person could advise me regarding my cars windows
Sometimes they will go down and not want to come back up and then they seem to jerk a little.
Other times they work fine is there some special Spray stuff I can use to ease them along etc .
Thank you for any advice

Remove any moss/catkins/seeds/rotten leafs between rubber seal and glass, outside and inside.
Use soap & water and old tooth brush.
Or are they sticking because drive motor or linkage has failed?

Thank you UKjim, I have done as you suggested.
And it has certainly improved the situation.
I will now do as HertsHonda  has also suggested and toothbrush any detritus away etc
Thank you you both for taking the trouble to advise me what I should do.
Much appreciated.
