Hello guys a while ago I got randomly dashboard rattling noise on passenger's side. (adding photo with location).
I noticed that this sound occurs especially when driving on rough uneven asphalt, going uphill or when I am sitting down to drive when the sun heats the salon.
I have already tried to remove all dashboard unnecessary plastic parts and even whole SRS air bag with all the plastics around it. I tried to remove inside the car's air ventilation tubes with also the grill cover. Finally, I removed whole glove box with doors and all it's wire clips.
Recently when I press SRS plastic cover near airbag and pull toward to driver's seat for a short while (a 30 secs or two minutes) that sound vanishes. But it STILL comes back. I tried to put sponges and other sound dulling things around these corners and everywhere else where I can think off but it still didn't help.
For Two years I am trying to find out where this rattling sound comes from but without any success. Anyone else facing with this annoying rattle sound?

Hello Leo,
I did have a rattle in this area. It turned out to be a loose plastic piece inside passenger wing - you may see it is loose if you open the passenger door and look into the wing that way. I think it is retained with plastic clips and those break. It was not possible to see it from under the bonnet.
I jammed a piece of expanded polystyrene into the gap and that stopped it moving!

Hey Paulo,
Yes i found loose plastic there and removed it (adding photo). I was glad that this would be the problem, unfortunately the sound remained 😬
