Has anyone had any joy sourcing a good replacement front windscreen washer pump at a sensible price?
Mine still works ok, but has developed a leak that drains the reservoir over a period of a week or so.
I pulled back the dirt covers and had a look, and the pump was wet on the bottom (the pump sited nearest to the front of the car). Pulled it out and the rubber seal still looks good so I think that it's probably an O ring inside the pump itself that may be leaking. No signs of any screws, so assume that it's snapped together with the o ring on assembly.
Bought a "High Tech" brand replacement from a local components supplier for a tenner but have pretty much given up on trying to get the inlet tube to seal in the supplied rubber grommet in the reservoir. It always seems to want to pop itself out way too easily.
Genuine pumps look to be very expensive and pattern pumps don't seem to fit well unfortunately.
Any advice gratefully accepted

Try a visit to your local breakers yard, you know the pats off the car will fit.

I'd love to, but "old school" breakers are thin on the ground in this area. Almost all the ones I used to go to are now are now fancy housing estates :(

If you've the part number, search online a see what comes up. I would also use Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l1311&_nkw=honda+jazz+breaking&_sacat=0
and message/phone breakers to find what you need.

Found a breakers yard with a very accessible Jazz stacked at a perfect height. Twenty minutes and £5 solved the problem. Happy days.

And it will be fine as its a Honda OE part, great result.
